Swedish-grey sitting-room with gilded dado, picture
rail and bottom of cornice. A plain, wartime cupboard has been painted
in aubergine with cream panels and gilding to complement the re-upholstered victorian armchair.
French Style Bedroom
The light grey walls has a cream colour-wash
to give an aged look. A wallpapered on the chimney breast adds a focal point and brings the colour scheme together. Period additions such as the Empire-style chandelier, French
candle scones and a purpose built radiator cabinet add the final touches.
Roman-Style Bathroom
Warmth has been brought into this bathroom by the terracotta tiles,
which have been highlighted by the additional of a dado rail and blue insert tiles. The walls
have been colour-washed in four different shades of blue. The hand-made bath panel and washstand have been painted and distressed
to match.
